ARTHUR BUTLER MEMORIAL SANCTUARY- THE BLUE TRAIL (MODERATE)
Details
This hike will be around 4 miles on the blue trail which is hilly and mildly challenging in spots. Pace will be steady and moderate. Be sure to bring a minimum of one liter of water and a snack and we will stop at a bird lookout with seating. Restrooms unavailable on the hike. If taking the train, use restroom if needed. We will accommodate on the hike. This is also a dog friendly hike. Be sure your dog is on a leash and well trained.
Limited to 35 participants plus a waitlist.
Drivers: Meet at the Mount Kisco Train Station at 10 AM. Await the train from NYC and assist by shuttling hikers to the hike location about 10 minutes away.
Public Transportation: From GCT or connecting station in NYC take the 9:09 AM MetroNorth Harlem Line leaving GCT to Mount Kisco, NY arriving at 10:14 AM. AMC HikeLeader Steve will be at the train station to greet you. Either join a car shuttle but if unavailable, ride-share to the hike location in a local taxi.
