It may be getting dark earlier, but that's no reason to hibernate! Get on the move along the East River with fellow New Yorkers every Wednesday for four (4) weeks. Our brisk, post-prandial walks will increase our heart rates a smidge, lower our sugar levels a tick, and get our endorphins cooking!

The pace will be 3 miles per hour, or 20-minutes miles. Terrain is on flat pavement. We'll be on the move for one hour. Target distance is 3 miles.

Meet in front of the United Nations at 1st Ave and East 43rd Street at 7:00 PM. We'll head off no later than 7:15 PM. Try to wear reflective or light-colored clothing and bring a light (just in case).

These are Show & Go events. No registration required although an RSVP would be helpful. Just come join us! We'd love to see you! Rain cancels. More about this event series at activities.outdoors.org

Join the Appalachian Mountain Club**! Your membership supports hundreds of free or low-cost outdoor experiences, thousands of miles of trails, hundreds of thousands of acres of protected wilderness, outdoor leadership education, access to nature for everyone, and your local volunteer leaders.
