Roosevelt Island Waterfront Loop Walk - New Members Welcome!

Explore the beauty of the city by walking a circuit around Roosevelt Island. Nestled on the East River between Manhattan and Queens, there are so many interesting city skyline and waterfront views to admire. This walk also offers a peek at New York City's historical architecture and urban artwork.

We'll walk at a leisurely pace on paved terrain for about 4 miles, stopping at points of interest. Wear comfortable walking shoes and warm clothes in case the wind blows across the water.

If you are new to the AMC, this is a great starter event! New and existing members, as well as prospective members are welcome!!

Meet at 10:30am at the Roosevelt Island Visitor Center. If you're coming from Manhattan, you're welcome to join the leaders at 10:00am at the base of the Roosevelt Island Tram station. The M train Roosevelt Island Station is only 5 minutes away from the meeting spot.
