Wrap up your weekend with an extraordinary artistic wonderment!

This gorgeous exhibit, cleverly entitled "Clearly Indigenous: Native Visions Reimagined in Glass" is worth a special visit to the Smithsonian Museum of the American Indian. Although the glass medium is decidedly modern, each piece evokes the spirit of nature. They all glow with life, from Marvin Oliver's stained glass whale and calf, to Raven Skyriver's ombre glass seahorse, to Dan Friday's bear and bird totem, to Angela Babby's enameled mosaics, and so many more. My first visit to this show left me breathless.

To share this experience, meet us in the Museum Gift Shop at 3:00pm. Admission is FREE. If there is interest afterwards, we'll head to a bar or restaurant to close out the weekend together. (Note, the exhibit is accessible, but access to museum is via stairs during construction.)

Register for this event at activities.outdoors.org or RSVP on Meetup. All participants will be asked to sign the liability waiver at the start of the event.
