Let’s go for a Phone Photo and Video outing to the Free Annual Sakura Matsuri Cherry Blossom Festival at Flushing Meadows Corona Park! Organized by the Japanese American Association of New York. There will be Japanese Drums, Folk Dances, Tea ceremony demonstrations and many cherry trees in full bloom. Group meets at 10:15am in front of the Queens Museum across from the Unisphere. The Festival goes till 1pm and it is beside the Queens theatre. Bring snacks, water and wear supportive shoes to walk on the grass and on bridal paths. We can wander around the Park later - total day distance shall be 2 to 3 miles. Let’s enjoy the Outdoors Festivities and make new friends.
