The cabin:
Experience the rugged beauty of dunes, forest, and marshes at AMC’s Fire Island Cabin. Located at the Fire Island National Seashore, enjoy beautiful Atlantic Ocean beaches, explore the area by canoe or kayak, and sail along the Great South Bay near Long Island in New York.

The event:
This weekend we are hosting a Sail School. Come learn sailing skills, knots, marine navigation, weather interpretation, and get to practice the skills using our fleet of small dinghy (Sunfish) or larger sloop (for experienced sailors).
The even is open to everyone ages 15 and up, no prior sailing experience is required.
What's included:
- two nights of bunk bed accommodations
- all meals
- sailing introduction including personal and group instruction and practice
- free time to relax, roam and explore the beautiful Fire Island

$410 for AMC members
