Let’s go to a Phone Photo Walk at Douglaston Peninsula: a gorgeous Historic District of Queens. Let’s wonder around the waterfront and see the largest collection of imported trees in New York City plus the architecture of the Mansions and their Gardens. The plan is also to visit a section of the Udall’s Cove Park Preserve: a dirt trail of a Forever Wild Area.
Group meets at 10:30am by the Douglaston LIRR Station Plaza - Port Washington Line. We will pass Memorial Field Park where we can stop for snacks. Total distance aprox 2.5miles on rolling hills on pavement, grass and dirt trails. Wear supportive shoes, bring your hats, water and snacks. Plenty of breaks on the way to enjoy the views and take Photos. We will pass the Little Neck LIRR train Station and head to Northern Blvd to watch the Memorial Day Parade that starts at 2pm. Feel free to wear your Red, White and Blue and make this Day a memorable Outing.
