Old Croton Aqueduct Trail Hike to Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers

Enjoy a moderately paced and easy hike covering approximately 6 miles, primarily along the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail. The journey begins in the northern Bronx, where participants will briefly enter Van Cortlandt Park before locating and hiking the OCA Trail toward Tibbets Brook Park in Yonkers. Along the way, the route passes through suburban neighborhoods. The group will have the opportunity to explore Tibbets Brook Park before heading back. Please remember to bring lunch and plenty of drinks. Restrooms are available at various points along the trail. Transportation: For those using public transportation, take the number 4 subway line to its last stop in the Bronx, Woodlawn. Plan to arrive between 9:45 AM and 10:00 AM. Please note that trains will operate on a Sunday schedule.
Drivers: Sunday parking rules will apply. Drivers are advised to look for available parking spots upon arrival between 9:45 AM and 10 AM.
