URBAN WALK: Central Park - North Woods

Start: 11:00 AM | Central Park West & West 96th-97th (Rudin Family Playground)

Please meet the trip guide Dev (he/him) on Central Park W between W 96th - W 97th. The Rudin Family Playground will work.
Dev will have a green AMC logo hat, black AMC logo shirt and a black backpack.

End: 2:00 PM | Central Park West & West 96th-97th (SAME AS START)

On this Saturday in May we will be be back to Central Park's North Woods to experience the lovely nature of this section of New York City. With three hours for this urban walk we will travel approximately 3 miles including visits to the Conservatory Garden, Harlem Meer, the worthless boulder and The Great Lawn. The trip guides will discuss AMC, membership, upcoming events & opportunities, etc. as well as landmarks, NYC history, nature information and Leave No Trace concepts. The route may be modified at the guide's discretion should it be necessary. Please be prepared to be outside in the Earth's elements for three hours and dress according for the activity and anticipated weather. Please bring water and food as well as any other items you need.
