Join us for a joyful weekend on beautiful Fire Island as we celebrate the Appalachian Mountain Club’s 150th anniversary with community, storytelling, and connection.

Discover the wonders of Fire Island and all the fun you can have at the AMC Fire Island Cabin! This welcoming gathering brings people together to enjoy a day at the beach, share stories, and make new friends—whether you’re a longtime member or brand new. You can join in one of the organized short walks, kayak trips, and possibly even sailing trips! Or, there will be plenty of time to enjoy the beach, relax in a hammock, or swim in the bay. Expect relaxed conversations, meaningful moments, and time to enjoy the ocean backdrop.

Come celebrate AMC’s legacy, our shared love of the outdoors, and the friendships that will carry us into the next 150 years.
