Start: 8:00 AM | Randall's Island - East River Lane Circle (across Wards Island Bridge)

Please meet the trip guide Dev (he/him) on Randall's Island at the East River Lane Circle (Wards Island Bridge entrance to Randall's Island.)
Get to the starting location on Randall's Island independently. The group meets on Randall's Island where the Wards Island Bridge enters.)
Dev will have a green AMC logo hat, black AMC logo shirt and a black backpack.

End: 11:00 AM | (SAME AS START)

To celebrate the summer solstice we are walking in the morning around Randall's Island in New York City. With approximately 3 hours to walk 5 miles we will take breaks, talk to each other and enjoy the experience. The route plan includes a loop around the island to complete a Randall's Island Loop featuring the Hell Gate Bridge. We will discuss all things Appalachian Mountain Club as well as relevant activity related topics such as Leave No Trace. The route may be modified at the guide's discretion should it be necessary. Please be prepared to be outside in the Earth's elements for three hours and dress according for the activity and anticipated weather. Please bring water and food as well as any other items you need.
