Orange Reservoir Loop via Lenape Trail 8 Mile

Join us for a forest hike in South Mountain Reservation! This is a moderate about 8-mile hike with 1,000 ft of elevation gain. You will be moving between well-maintained dirt paths and areas with exposed roots and stones. This trail transitions beautifully from the bustling to the quiet, stillness of the inner Lenape Trail.

Route:
Lenape Trail (Yellow) — Turn Left onto Swampy Trail （Blue）— Turn Left onto Openwood Trail (white )to Hemlock Falls — Turn right to Lenape Trail (Yellow) — Reservoir Loop (Orange)— Return to Lenape Trail (Yellow ) — River Trail (White )

Location: Locust Grove Parking Lot
You can take the NJ train to Millburn Station, then walk 3 minutes to Trailhead.

Please bring:
Sturdy hiking boots/shoes, Poles, at least 3L of water, Lunch/Snacks, Sunscreen, Bug spray.
