Route 106 White Bar trail 9 a.m. (Vigorous)

Dog friendly. Panda is back from vacation. White Bar to Lemon Squeeze, ASB to lake. If the day is hot, hike will not cancel. Hike will adjust to hike directly to Island pond (1hr 30 min) without much elevation at all. We will instead plan to stay at the lake and relax. Bring "beach" clothes. However, it is also possible to take off and return to cars without an extended lunch break. Bring plenty of water, food, sun lotion. The hike is its usual 8.5 miles and 1700 feet elevation gain. However, I don't see this happen unless we drop down to 80-degree F.
Directions: From Seven Lake Drive take Route 106 west. You see several small parking areas along the way. Ours is the furthest west. It is located on the left (south side) of the road, and has two entrances instead of being just along the road.
