Dumbo Waterfront Evening Stroll

Let's take advantage of the last dry day for a while and get outside to enjoy the sunset!

The Down Under the Manhattan Bridge, or DUMBO, section of NYC has transformed tremendously in the past 10 years. As we stroll along the waterfront, we will check out the parks, gardens, special art installations, and other changes to this neighborhood.

This is a great opportunity to get outside and connect with other folks who love to spend time outside, explore NYC neighborhoods. and just go for a walk!

Pace will be slow, so there will be opportunities to enjoy the spectacular views and take stunning photos. Terrain is paved and mostly flat with some gentle slopes.

Bring a hat, water, and your smiles.

Meet at the Van Leeuwen Ice Cream Shop by the Dumbo Ferry Landing at 6:00pm. We’ll have a brief talk about AMC and the route. We start off no later than 6:15pm.

The meeting place can be reached by public transportation via the NYC Ferry; the Dumbo ferry dock is next to the ice cream shop. You can also take the subway; the nearest stations are the York Street Station (F) and the High Street Station (A/C). Both will require an additional 10-20 minute walk.
