Description
Hiking from Anthony Wayne parking lot exit 17 off the Palisade Parkway at Harriman State Park. 7.3 miles and 1400 feet elevation, we go with a good speed and occasional water breaks.
I made it moderate since I am not pushing for speed these days. That may change again with the cooler fall.
We hike to Silvermine lake where we have lunch and back the same way.
The in and out route allows anyone to turn and hike back at any time for any reason.
Dog friendly, Panda is on vacation. Dogs are welcome.
