A cold weather alert for Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026 – Bring a hat and gloves. They might be needed.
Moderately paced and easy, about 5 plus miles. Hike southbound from Scarborough along the OCR (Old Croton Aqueduct Trail), and through very scenic Rockwood Hall State Park, through classic Kingsland Park past the Sleepy Hollow Lighthouse until we reach our destination, the Tarrytown waterfront. No restrooms immediately along the way. If taking the train use the restrooms onboard. Picnic tables and restrooms at Kingsland Park. Bring lunch. Limited to 20, then a waitlist.

Train Schedule: Grand Central Terminal -board the train at 9:25 AM. Arrive in Scarborough at 10:25 AM
Tarrytown- board at 10:18 AM. Arrive in Scarborough at 10:25 AM
