Join us for a special "Concrete to Trails" event to Storm King Arts Center!!
This trip is hosted by the AMC NY-NoJ Chapter and the Outdoors for All Committee, in collaboration with the City College of New York (CCNY) Outdoors Club. This event is OPEN TO ALL. This is trip includes round trip bus transportation. There is an approximately 7 mile walk/hike, offering a unique opportunity to connect with art, nature, and one another in a truly inspiring setting.
We’ll spend the day at Storm King Art Center in New Windsor, NY, one of the nation’s top sculpture parks. With more than 500 acres of hills, meadows, and woodlands, Storm King offers the perfect opportunity for exploring the intersection of creativity and the outdoors.
Self-Guided Hiking Exploration
We will have approximately 5 hours to explore Storm King at our own pace. Wander along scenic trails, take in monumental sculptures, and enjoy the museum grounds through a self-guided hike that invites reflection, discovery, and connection with nature.
**Friendly Accessibility Reminder**
Please keep in mind that this walk is about 7 miles and includes a mix of hills, grassy areas, dirt paths, paved paths, and gravel.

- 2 - 3 liters of water, you can leave one bottle in the bus
- Mosquito Repellent
- Hat and sunscreen
- comfortable shoes/ Hiking shoes/boots
- Dress in layers, weather might start cold and then warm up a little
