Morning walk : Prospect Park in Brroklyn

Start your morning with a refreshing 5-mile walk through beautiful Prospect Park. We’ll enjoy the park’s scenic paths, green spaces, and peaceful morning atmosphere while getting some exercise and connecting with nature.
This is a relaxed urban walk and a great way to start the day outdoors. Come enjoy a morning of fresh air, conversation, and movement with fellow AMC members!
Please meet the trip guide Mari (she/her) at the fountain in Grand Army Plaza
Mari will have a light grey hat, black and a grey backpack.
Accessible by public transportation
Take the B or Q train to 7 Av or 2 or 3 to Amy Grand Plaza

We will discuss all things Appalachian Mountain Club as well as relevant activity related topics such as Leave No Trace. The route may be modified at the guide's discretion should it be necessary.
Please be prepared to be outside in the Earth's elements for three hours and dress according for the activity and anticipated weather. Please bring water and food as well as any other items you need. Reasonable fitness for the expected activity is needed, but the trip is designed for those new to the activity. Expect to be active up to 4 hours/day. A bit more active time than the relaxed rating, but with generous breaks.
