Concrete to Trails bus trips make it easy to hike, explore, and meet fellow outdoor lovers just beyond the city. No experience required.
Celebrate the colors, flavors, and fun of fall! Join AMC for a day of apple picking, pumpkin picking, meeting farm animals, and autumn adventure at Pennings Orchard in Warwick, NY. We’ll take care of the details—you just bring your crew (kids, grandparents, friends, or come solo and meet new friends!). This is a great trip for folks new to the AMC and getting outdoors.
Group meets at 8:45 AM, with the bus departing at 9:00 AM. We'll enjoy 4 hours at the Orchard, returning around 2:00 PM for with a drop off back in NYC between 3:00 - 3:30 PM.
Enjoy the crisp air and bright foliage while you:

What to Bring:
- Sturdy hiking footwear
- Weather appropriate clothing
- 2+ liters of water
- Snacks (or buy at the orchard)
- Sun protection (clothing, hat, sunblock)
- Bug protection (lotion or spray)
Registration Details:
- Space is limited to 50 participants.
- Click the green register button to reserve your spot.
- Register on the AMC website (activities.outdoors.org) is required for each participant, including children.
- All minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult

Meeting Info:
- The group will meet at 8:45 AM and depart by 9:00 AM.
- Final meeting details (outside the George Washington Bridge Bus Station) will be sent to the email of all registered participants two days prior to the hike.
- Return time is estimated between 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM, depending on traffic
- For this trip, you may arrive independently and meet us at 10:00 AM at Pennings Orchard. Cost is the same,
Cost: includes round trip bus transportation, small bag of apples, pumpkin, maze, rides, etc! Lunch and other purchases are on your own

- $60 Non-members (adults)
- $20 Non-members (child 17 years old and under)
Refund Policy:
- For this trip, a refund is possible if you cancel online one week before the trip and your space can be filled.
