So, do you have a global mindset?

Before you come please ask yourself these five questions:

1] Do you have cultural curiosity? Do you always want to know more about foreign countries, cultures and people, and to seek out new ideas and situations? Or do you stay at home and ignore current world events?

2] Are you self-aware? How well do you know your strengths, weaknesses and biases? Do you make sure they don’t cloud your decision making? Or do you think your country has a monopoly on best global business practices? If you do, then think again!

3] Are you non-judgmental? Are you willing to withhold or suspend negative judgments about situations or people? Or do you have a nasty habit of jumping to conclusions?

4] Are you emotionally sensitive? Are you aware of how others feel, and do you try to relate to them? Or do you behave the same way in all situations and avoid connecting with people you don’t know well?

5] Can you tolerate ambiguity and complexity? How do you react when you don’t know exactly what’s going on, or when things don’t go to plan? Do you stay positive, work hard and keep calm, or get overwhelmed by stress and frustration?
