The Constitutional Amendments

Details

In this workshop we will finish our discussion of the founding documents by discussing the amendments to the US constitution and the rights that follow from them. If we have time we will also begin our discussion of Gordon Wood's book "The Radicalism of the American Revolution" and see how the Revolution dramatically changed the basic societal structures of colonial life. Please read the first section "Monarchy" (pgs. 1-92). It's okay if you can't read it all, we will continue our discussion in the next workshop.
