About us
This group is to help people in the American diaspora here in Berlin meet one another socially, share opportunities / ideas, network, and share experiences. I am a dual national (US and Germany), but it's open to North and South Americans generally.
The hope is that by connecting more established and integrated migrants with newer arrivals, we can develop a some community that eases the process of integration, and combats the isolation that new arrivals experience due to language barriers and culture shock.
This is a new group, so please join if interested. I will set up events when we have enough members to realistically get a group together.
If this group grows enough, I can promote organizers to do Spanish and Portuguese events as well.
