WORLD FAMOUS GARDENS BECOME A VIENNESE CAFE WITH FOOD, WINE,

AND MUSIC ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 25

Several hundred music lovers will enjoy a unique concert venue September 25th when the Garfield Park Conservatory's gorgeous Monet gardens becomes a Viennese cafe where patrons can walk around, play cards, enjoy wine and pastries, read newspapers or just sit at their tables while they listen to violinist ILYA KALER play selections of Fritz Kreisler, Paganini, Schubert and other great composers, accompanied by the OISTRAKH SYMPHONY OF CHICAGO under conductor MINA ZIKRI.

Concert tickets are $60 for those seated at tables and $45 for standing. In keeping with the Viennese Cafe tradition, all guests can move about to enjoy conversation with friends and the delicious Viennese pastries, coffee and wine. The concert is the 2nd in the Conservatory's MUSIC UNDER GLASS concert series, which raises fund for its educational and cultural programs and classes. Our mission is to educate and provoke exploration through innovative programs and experiences in the Garfield Park Conservatory, one of the nation’s largest and finest historic conservatories. The concert series is sponsored by Ariel Investments, US Bank, PNC, The Private Bank, Venue Logic, and WFMT-FM.
