Great Lakes

We will visit 6 national parks in 6 days for Memorial Day weekend. We will rent a car from Chicago and camp along the way.
Wednesday: Indiana Dunes NP
Thursday: Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, Pictured Rocks NL
Friday: Isle Royale NP
Saturday: Apostle Islands NL
Sunday: Voyageurs NP
Monday: Voyageurs Highway

Flights: I have Delta Flight 2920, ATL to MDW (Chicago Midway airport), 3:17-4:06 PM, return Delta Flight 2500 6:00-8:50 AM

Camping: We have reservations for two of the nights. Two other nights we plan on camping at first-come, first served campgrounds, at one of which we will arrive late at night. We should be prepared to find the campgrounds full, in which case we will have to find some alternate solution, like dispersed camping in the national forest close to the road. We will spend most of the first night driving. We should try to limit ourselves to two tents. I have a one person tent, which could accommodate in case of need two people, so we could have one other two or three person tent. I am OK with sleeping in the car, or having other people sleep in the car.

Thursday: Sunset Bay, Eagle River, MI
Friday: Birch Grove Campground, Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, WI
Saturday: Cruiser Lake, Voyageurs NP, MN
Sunday: Woods Creek Camp, Superior NF, MN

Equipment: Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, water filter, headlamp, day pack, swimsuit. We will do just one longer hike, so I think sneakers will be enough.

2. Make a reservation for Isle Royale Ferry, departure Friday May 27, 8:00 AM, return same day 2:45 PM, $135. Tickets are selling fast. If you do not get a reservation immediately, remove yourself from the meetup trip to allow others to sign up. Website: https://www.isleroyale.com
3. Meet me in person ASAP to get to know each other and discuss reservations, payments, etc. and secure your spot on the trip. If you would like to secure your spot on the trip before meeting me in person, we can talk about making a payment for reservations already made.

5. Sign the participation waiver I will provide

I will schedule a meeting with the whole group before the trip

Deadline: May 4. If there are unfilled spaces after this date I will cancel the reservations. You can still come on the trip, but you will be responsible to make your reservations.
