The American Legion Post #207 Had a Fire in 2019, and the building you see pictured Burned Down...
Ashes and rubble were cleared, since Little of value was left from the building, and our site has only the cement foundations left. There ARE are plans to rebuild; but it has been difficult to get permission and permits from City-Hall in Tucker GA, allowing construction to begin.
Legion post #207 has been a contributing part of the Tucker area for decades, since before "Tucker" became an official town... and our organization has provided a social connection supporting both former Military, their families, AND the community we live in.
Currently, we are unable to have Legion meetings, social events, holiday Bar-B-Que, or use our space for any purpose beyond our community garden. We HOPE to rebuild, soon after the permits are approved.
If YOU would like to see Legion Post #207 rebuild... Let us know... AND voice your opinion to Tucker city council and Zoning board. If you are interested in what we DO, read below, and contact us. If you do NOT want to see Post#207 rebuild... STILL CONTACT US; because we would LIKE to know your concerns !!

Our primary mission is to be a meeting hall, where military and ex-military can come and socialize, while feeling at home -- but We ALSO like to enjoy ourselves here, and this includes a variety of social events: from live music, to poker night, and Karaoke or throwing a Music/DJ party with dancing ! Many of these events are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, so you do not have to be a military family to attend. Members of the Army/Navy/Air-Force/Marines and Coast Guard ARE part of the Atlanta/Tucker community...
As you Neighbors and Friends, we are an active part of this town, and want to be a supporting part of the local area... That's why we have started this Meetup page, to let everybody in the Atlanta/Tucker area know what's happening here at Post#207.
The Army Reserve and National Guard members are not JUST the people you call when there is a crisis... these are ALSO parents who's kids attend the same schools, the faces next to you in church, perhaps co-workers on the job, and the kind of neighbors you can enjoy getting to know day-to-day, and count on to help when you need it... or who may need Your help now and then too.
Several times per month, Legion Post #207 also has the kind of people who like to have FUN, and throw a Party... And usually YOU are INVITED to come over and join us !! That's just the kind of people we are.
