American Mahjong Lake Norman Meetup Group

Welcome to the American Mahjong Lake Norman Meetup Group! If you are an intermediate or seasoned player ( as long as you can play on your own without guidance), join us for fun and socializing with other American Mahjong enthusiasts in the Lake Norman area. We will try to meet monthly ( or more) to play and improve our skills. Come practice your Mahjongg skills and make new friends in a casual and welcoming atmosphere. So come join us, for some friendly competition and camaraderie!
You must have your own official NMJL card. Game tiles will not be supplied by me. Table rules ( ex. hot ot cold walls, ) will not be allowed unless agreed upon by your table. You can play for points or just for fun. We will not be playing for money since we will be playing at times in bars, restaurants etc...) If someone wants to host in their home and play for money that's fine as long as all agree.
This is not tournament play, so patience is a must !! If you are not respectful of others who may need a little more time to make a decision, or if others have made complaints you may be removed from this group. If you have 2 no shows ( those who rsvp and do not show up or have less than 24 hour notice) will also be removed without warning.
