(This event is for those who have walked a Camino, plan to walk a Camino, or are interested in learning more!)

Let's say goodbye to summer and kick off the fall with a 7-mile hike in the beautiful John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge! This will be a flat walk at a moderate pace with opportunities to see some wildlife, as well as diverse habitats (freshwater tidal marsh, mudflats, woodland).

We'll have lunch afterwards at Stinger's Waterfront (401 S Swarthmore Ave, Ridley Park).

The walk will begin at 9:30, but please arrive early if you want time to check out the Visitor's Center (opens at 9:00, with great displays and nice restrooms). There will also be two restroom options along the way (pit toilets but nicer than porta potties). Bring water and snacks; poles are optional for this walk (but this is a great chance to practice with them if you want).

Rain may postpone or cancel the walk, so keep an eye on the forecast and check back here for updates.
