10 mile hike along the Wissahickon Creek

Join us for a roughly 10 mile walk along the Wissahickon Creek, from East Falls to the Valley Green Inn and back. We will start at the trailhead for the Lincoln Drive/Wissahickon Bike Trail at Ridge Avenue, just across from the Wissahickon Transportation Center, and take that trail until it meets up with Forbidden Drive and walk as far as the Inn before returning.

There is a small parking lot near the trailhead, as well as larger lots nearby, including at the United Artists Main Street shopping center.

For those interested, afterwards we'll have lunch from the food trucks at Wissahickon Brewing Company, 3705 W School House Ln, Philadelphia, PA 19129.
