6-7 Mile Walk and Pizza at Holy Tomato

Details

Join us for a 6-7 mile walk along the Blackwood Railroad Trail and pizza at Holy Tomato.

The Blackwood Railroad Trail (AKA Gloucester Township Health & Fitness Trail) is an easy, flat, paved trail which goes along an old turn-of-the-century railroad line. It mostly runs along Rt 168 (Black Horse Pike) through residential areas, crossing some nice bridges and wooded areas.

After the walk, we'll go to Holy Tomato, a fun and eclectic little pizzeria owned by a mother-daughter team serving amazing pizzas, tomato pies, salads, and desserts. Please note - Holy Tomato is CASH ONLY. For the sake of simplicity, we'll split the bill evenly. Holy Tomato is BYO so please fell free to bring any wine or beer to share.

We have a reservation for three PM for up to 18 people. If there is a waitlist and I'm able to increase the reservation size, I will do so.

Meeting Point - on the rail trail at the intersection of Church Street and Railroad Ave in Blackwood, NJ by the Red Train Car (see attached photo and you can use that link for your GPS).

Parking - street parking is available next to the trail on both E Railroad Ave and W Railroad Ave. Park on the opposite side of the street than the trail (the side with houses).

Bathrooms - unfortunately, there are no bathrooms along the way. There are public restrooms at the Blackwood Public Library which is a short walk from the starting location.
