5 - 6 Mile Walk Along The Schuylkill Banks

Have you heard? There's a new bridge in town!

In May, a new segment of the Schuylkill Banks trail opened, a cable-stay bridge that spans from Christian Street to Gray's Ferry Crescent. So we're going to check it out.

Starting at Lloyd Hall on Kelly Drive, just behind the Art Museum, we'll walk the Schuylkill Banks Trail out to the new bridge and back. Scenic views of the river, University City's newest buildings, and the Center City Skyline await. Afterwards we'll grab lunch somewhere in the Fairmount or Center City area.

There are restrooms at Lloyd Hall and just south of Walnut Street.

There will be a post-hike meal at a location to be determined.
