7 Mile Loop On The Delaware From Lambertville
Details
Join us for another 7 mile walk along the Delaware River, this time starting at the D&C Canal Parking Lot just up the road from Lambertville. We will head north, crossing the Delaware at Stockton, and then heading south again through New Hope and back to Lambertville where we will grab some lunch before returning to our cars.
Note: There is NO PUBLIC RESTROOM at the start of the walk. (You can detour to the Lambertville Boat Ramp, 3 Station Ct, Lambertville, NJ 08530, where there is a restroom, on your way to the parking area). The first public restroom on the walk will be in Stockton, about 3 miles from our starting place, and there are public facilities in New Hope as well.
As a reminder, while we love dogs (at least I do love mine), our walks are dog-free.
The D&R Canal Parking Lot is just past the Holcombe Jimison Farmstead Museum at 1605 Daniel Bray Hwy, Lambertville, NJ 08530. Google maps coordinate for the parking lot is 1007_63_3.01, Lambertville, NJ 08530. See the satellite map below.
