After the Earthquake - Myanmar's Art and Heritage
V&A South Kensington, Cromwell Road, London, GBFree event - Dr Louis Copplestone, curator for Southeast Asia at the V&A, and Dr. Alexandra Green, S. P. Shaw Curator for Southeast Asia at the British Museum, invite you to a free one day hybrid workshop at the V&A to raise funds for earthquake relief in Myanmar on the 25th of October. Discussions will include collections at both museums, current research, and a roundtable discussion about the impact of the earthquake. See programme on poster. Neither the V&A nor the British Museum can fund raise. There will be an opportunity for those who attend, either virtually or in person, to make a donation directly to a charity such as Medical Aid Myanmar to help with earthquake relief. Zoom link
