What we’re about
The concept behind the American Club of Umeå is to have a monthly potluck where Americans can eat, drink, talk, and just be American together. I'll make the main dish -- some example of great American cuisine, like traditional New England fare or California New American -- and people are invited (but not obligated!) to contribute to the potluck. We'll try to theme each event, perhaps to an American holiday.
All Americans are welcome! Are you an American? You are if you believe in freedom, fun, and French fries. Hopefully, that includes you. Friends and significant others are also very welcome!
Membership is and will always be free.
I've been hosting Meetups for years. It's been a great experience -- superfun, and so many wonderful friendships have formed.
