Brit Cervantes (They/Them) is a nonbinary transgender person, advocate, and storyteller. They received a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Communications from California State University, Fullerton. Brit has been an advocate for equitable access to gender affirming healthcare for over a decade.

As the founder of Gender Affirming Professionals, Brit uses their lived experience as a transgender person and healthcare professional to provide others with the opportunity to learn how they can advocate for change that improves the lives and well-being of transgender people.
Brit will cover the key aspects of gender-affirming care including therapy, medical care, advocacy and mental health support.

Americans United for Separation of Church and State has long been an opponent of denial of healthcare to the transgender community. We recognize that eroding the rights of transgender people is just another mandate to impose a Christian Nationalist view on our laws and policies, in the name of religion.
