Join us for a discussion of Let This Radicalize You by Kelly Hayes and Mariame Kaba, an inspirational guide to mutual aid and protest. The book is a collection of essays that illustrate the varied and personal events that shape activists and grow them into active participants in their communities.

During the gathering we will discover how to bring the book’s suggestions into our own lives by discussing these questions:

  • What are some of the differences between organizing and activism?
  • Why is relationship building important?
  • How have we been disconnected from the organizing of our ancestors?
  • What is the practice of active hope?
  • What is one group local to you that is serving the community?
