Learn how to grow fresh herbs indoors!
Join us for an informative and hands-on workshop that will teach you how to grow edible herbs inside your home. Growing herbs outdoors in any season in Alaska is not without its challenges, so come learn the benefits of growing herbs as houseplants year round.

This workshop is hosted by horticulturist, Shii Kaina, who has a wealth of plant knowledge and experience to share. She has a degree in plant science and has worked as a plantscaper, educator and horticulturist at botanical gardens around the country. With her guidance and expertise, you will leave this workshop with the confidence to grow happy herbs indoors year-round.

• Introduction to growing herbs
• Learn to choose the right herbs for indoors
• Cover the basics of propagation
• Re-pot Party: Choose and herb and learn to re-pot it
• Hands-on guidance from an experienced instructors
