Hello,
I want to meet local people to befriend. To provide a safe place to talk about Love, morality, existentialism, philosophy, religion, politics, or whatever. Anything that interests both parties, but especially those things that are considered taboo, or that people tend to avoid in public, at work, or with people they don’t know. The primary function I want to share is how to love everyone. Even people who are not in your “group.” And hopefully even to deliberately connect people in different or opposing groups in our shared humanity and common ground. How to have meaningful and productive conversations with strangers whether you agree with them or not. With the heart and soul being mutual respect for the boundary to NOT tear one another down. No matter what! With an agreement to not argue, and not complain. To only say uplifting, honest, helpful and kind things. To help one another be better. To better understand each other. To feel more comfortable and confident sharing our thoughts, and navigating our differences. And most importantly to feel like you belong to a community of people who genuinely Love you. I have ideas on what we could do for fun, but I’m open to suggestions. I just want healthy conversation to be adequately possible during whatever we choose to do together. Where the consent of every member is honored, but exploring beyond your comfort zone is encouraged!
