Taiwanese Signature Oolongs Tasting in Amstelveen

Details
Hello Meetup fellows!
I am Lionel, the host of the tea and incense ceremonies from Yumm-Cha.com. We are running this Yumm-Cha project to introduce the Asian tea and incense culture in the Europe.
We are both goverment certified tea tasters from Taiwan and we are looking forward to sharing the stories, knowledge and, of course, our selected high quality tea and incense to people who have the same interest here in the Europe.
We host exclusive tea tasting sessions at our own place in Amstelveen almost every weekend.
In this Taiwanese Oolong Special session, you will taste 3-4 types of competition grade Taiwanese Oolong tea and get to know interesting facts about each type of tea, such as the history background, the underlying tea making process which creates the flavours, etc, from our host.
We host this tea session with a small group of 4 visitors in a cozy and casual atmosphere, making sure that every visitor has enough space to interact with the host and build connections with other visitors as well. We believe that “people” are the essence of a tea ceremony.
If you are interested in reserving a spot for the session or getting more background about this project, please visit our website at:

Looking forward to sharing a nice afternoon with tea chats with you :D

Our Dong Ding Oolong tea leaves are carefully hand-picked and processed through a meticulous series of steps including withering, rolling, oxidising, and roasting. Tieguanyin is one of the heaviest roasted oolong teas in Taiwan. This rare batch is made of golden osmanthus cultivar and the tie guan yin cultivar, giving it a distinctive aroma profile of floral hint on top of the roasting tea base. It is a must-try from our tea collection, offering a unique delightful experience!
