The Amsterdam Arthouse Cinema group is trying to join people together with the same interests by bringing back the culture of film clubs, where anyone can enjoy a film with likeminded people and share opinions beyond one simple sentence.

It's your group if

• you have ideas about what art is and like arthouse films,
• you would like to be part of developing a community around film, and
• you became fluent in Dutch or you are native and you don't insist to English subtitles anymore.

Every new joiner gets a Tikkie payment of 1,- to ensure that you are not only joining the group but also show up at one of the events soon.

Every Tuesday evening and Saturday afternoon in one of Amsterdam's beautiful arthouse cinema network.

One year anniversary update!
Hereby some finetuning to the group.

• A meetup is a meet-up of at least three cinephiles. If you wanna make it happen, sign up as many times as you think you can make it!

• Please mind your manners and leave a comment if you sign up and cancel within an hour or so.

• The welcome Tikkie is indeed ironic but necessary to keep the group safe. Usually I am sending it out after 3-7 days when you joined, and yes, I am expecting you to pay it and show up so I can tikkie you back. This is how membership is closed to the group.
