What we're about

This group is for black women in Amsterdam (and its surroundings) to come together, have fun and support each other. It is foremost a community that is focused on providing a safe space for black women to be themselves and not feel self-conscious. The plan is to have series of different activities that are held in small groups so that everyone would feel welcome. Anyone can suggest an event to go to, or an activity to plan - book clubs, movie nights, album listening nights, wine tastings, support group discussions...anything our community needs. Black male friends, husbands, lovers are welcome at certain events, but we have women as the core of the group.
