Details
Every Tuesday we take over the basement of this iconic Dutch café with 30+ years of history, where locals, internationals, expats and random future friends battle over board games, pancakes, and questionable strategies. Or perhaps some social deduction games. Either way, just come and experience it for yourself.
🕡 Basement opens: 18:45 (yes, downstairs, less crowded than upstairs)
🎲 Games start: 19:00 until around 23:15
🍻 Food & drinks available -->please order and pay at the bar (and yes, pancakes for €4-6 still exist somehow).
Think of us as your weekly "livingroom away from home". You can come with friends, bring a game, or just show up solo. Someone will probably recruit you into a game within 5 minutes anyway 😄.

It is perfectly okay if you're new to the boardgame world, we'll take care of that. We have seasoned players who like to play more tactical boardgames and players who like a more lighter evening and end up playing social (deduction) games. Nevertheless there's always room for a new player to join.
Every Tuesday we have a separate (demo)table were we explain a game from our own collection. Think of: Faraway, Splendor, Windmill valley's, The Gang, Wondrous Creatures, Marco Polo, De Kwakzalvers van Kakelenburg, Dominion, Cascadia, Wingspan, De Taveernen van de oude stad etc...
Many more games are available, so if you like one bring it or drop the name in the comment so we can demo it or add it to our collection.
