Details

We will go through 8 different body weight exercises that cover all the major muscles in your body. It's a full body work out that's geared to building muscle and strength and feeling good in your body.

  1. The beginning consists of a short warm up and some theory. The latter is a short explanation about the form and execution of the exercises and why they should be executed in a certain way.
  2. The work out itself is made up 8 exercises that each have a 30 second break in between. We do all the exercises simultaneously so you can see and learn from others too. In total we do 2 sets, which means that this part of the work out lasts 30 minutes.
  3. After the working part of the work out there is a cooldown and there is time for questions. These may vary from exercise execution, to nutrition, anatomy, injury prevention or mental health.

I want to create a relaxed atmosphere where you get in touch with your body as you work it. I stay away from cheerleading and pumping loud music to motivate participants, because it takes away focus. In the end or after a few classes you should be able to perform the exercises by yourself as well. This way you always have an exercise routine you can fall back on when you don't have a gym around.

Take a large towel with you that may get a little dirty from lying on the grass. Bring a bottle of water so you can sip in between exercises.
