This is a meeting spot for people interested in chess, we don't have any expectations for member's skill level.
We mostly play blitz, games without time control, or sometimes even bughouse*. There's usually no need to bring your own chess set, we have enough.

Just kings and pawns — how difficult can it be? Join our class to find out! First, we’ll discuss some of the key ideas together, then jump into a short unrated tournament on Lichess to put them into practice.
🧠 Beginners are invited to join the first half [19:00 - 19:40 CEST]:
- Rule of the square & pawn races
- Opposition and key squares
- Zugzwang in simple king-and-pawn endings
🎮 After the lesson [19:45 - 20:30 CEST]: an unrated mini-tournament on Lichess (casual, no pressure) focused on pawn endgames. Please set up a free lichess account in advance if you don’t have one yet. Players of all levels are very welcome to join!
