Chess Weekend at Laurierboom!

As spring is in full swing, it's the perfect time to join us for a weekend of chess at Laurierboom, Amsterdam’s local chess café.

All levels are very welcome, we usually play 5+0 blitz, but any other time control or none at all is also possible, and even bughouse if you're up for it.

The event is free. Laurierboom will open doors earlier than usual, especially for us, so we have plenty of time and room to play.

Saturday, May 10

• 11:30 — Doors open
• 12:00 — Quick lesson: positional sacrifices!
• 12:30 — Endgame practice
• 13:00 — Free play, socializing, and fun

Sunday, May 11

• 10:00 — Rapid tournament begins (with entry fee and prizes, pre-registration required)
