WHY?
Do you feel like life is passing you by? Are you struggling with a strong inner critic? Would you like to further develop kindness and compassion towards yourself and others in order to live life more fully? Then this training might be suited for you.
CONTENT
The mindfulness-based compassionate living (or MBCL) training is an 8-week follow-up training after one has taken a mindfulness course or has practiced other forms of meditation (e.g., zen, vipassana, breathworks).
During 8 weeks we will cultivate our compassion skills directed to ourselves and others. This is a scientific based training in which we use (meditation) practices, journaling, and sharing of and reflecting on our experiences.
The following topics (AO) will be covered:
- Creating a safe space to explore our patterns
- Developing self-compassion/self-love
- Learning to better deal with our inner critic
- Becoming less guided by other people's opinions
- Decreasing our stress levels
- Becoming more mild (i.e., less reactive and judgmental) towards ourselfs and others
- Being able to better handle discomfort and taking in the good
- Living a more conscious life including deeper connections with others
PRACTICALITIES
This training will be provided online on Monday evenings starting on July 7, and ending on August 25. In addition, this training includes an online silent day on Sunday August 17 from 2-6pm. The full training, including 8 sessions of 2.5hrs and the silent day of 4hrs, cost € 450,- (excl. VAT).
