Abstract: Recent years have seen an increase in the use of Knowledge Graphs worldwide: Google and Reuters, Siri and Alexa, Elsevier and Airbnb are all using Knowledge Graphs. In this presentation we will take a look at recent uses of Knowledge Graphs by the Dutch government. The Dutch Cadastre agency now publishes the base registries for house and land ownership as a Knowledge Graph. The Dutch Bureau of Statistics publishes statistical information about cities and neighborhoods as a knowledge graph. And also the Chamber of Commerce, the Royal Cultural Heritage organization, and the Organization for Entrepreneurs all publish their data as knowledge graphs. We will explain this recent surge in Knowledge Graph use and will highlight the benefits of the use of Knowledge Graphs for eGovernment and Smart Cities.
