What we’re about

Based in Amsterdam, we are the largest and coolest international community in the Netherlands. We’re a social club for Amsterdam expats with an international membership that includes both recently relocated expats and long-term residents. Our doors are open to everyone. Whether you are an expat, a Dutch who's internationally oriented, or simply a traveller passing through, you're all welcome to join our growing multicultural family.

On a weekly basis, we host a range of networking and social events at various locations in the city, where expats and locals can gather to meet interesting people, create valuable connections and foster new friendships. Our events are always conducted in a friendly and welcoming environment.

We meet up regularly to: drink & mingle at various Amsterdam hotspots, explore the city's good food with social dining, watch comedy shows and plays, go clubbing and dancing, watch and play games and sports, go on special trips and rides... and other authentic Amsterdam experiences.

Show starts at 8:00 pm. But we meet from 7:15 pm! Come early if you wish to mingle, grab a bite & some drinks before the show. There will also be opportunities after the show to hang out.

April Macie (USA) as seen on Netflix. April Macie (USA) was a finalist on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” in 2006, has appeared on E! Entertainment, Sirius and XM Radio, Access Hollywood, Talk Soup, and HLN. April has appeared on the Howard Stern show where in 2008 she was voted the “Funniest and Hottest” comedian in America.She is also a regular guest on the Bob and Tom radio show and has toured with the Bob & Tom All-Stars.

April has appeared on Showtime’s I Am Comic, Vegas Is My Oyster, Snoop Dogg’s: Bad Girls of Comedy, and was the host of the AVN Awards.April has also appeared on Comedy Underground with Dave Attell on Comedy Central and Jenny McCarthy’s Dirty Sexy Funny on A&E. She also gave a TEDx talk on turning pain into humor.

Currently, April travels internationally as a headlining stand-up comedian. April can also be seen on the Netflix series Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready

Rami Nima: Mixing the dark with the weird and lacing it all with clever punchlines and brought in a hilariously dry tone. Rami won't convince you of anything. His method is subtle and will desoriëntate you in a unusual way. Rami won the Griffioen comedy festival 2021.

David Gamble Jr. is a Netherlands-based American standup comedian and writer who cut his teeth in the comedy clubs of California. His irreverent humor touches on marriage, family life, the absurdity of American life, why aliens are always naked in movies, and anything else that comes to mind.

Life's too short to only party on the weekend. Tuesday Drinks are best to get you through the week!

There's lots of space and a pool table. Depending on the weather we will be inside near the pool table or on the terrace outside.

All welcome! It's a great Irish bar with lots of space for everyone. It's in the heart of de pijp and always a fun area. No entry fees.

Afterparty nearby as there's mini clubs going on till 4am.

The Amsterdam Light Festival is upon us again, where 20 light installations by both local and international artists will be displayed throughout the city centre.

Come join us as we experience the festival up close by way of the canals! The captain from offcourseamsterdam.com will cruise past all light artworks in a charming 1920s salon boat. The boat has a cover in case of rain, is heated and blankets are provided.

RIOT RADIO – Connecting Communities: Friday Drinks & Party

Join us for our final Friday meetup before the holidays, with music by Riot Radio, a female-led collective. Everyone's welcome! We'll also be joined by members from Hikes & Pictures, for a more lively evening!

We'll mingle and get to know each other while DJs from Riot Radio plays in the background. There'll also be a Tattoo Pop-up, so if you've always wanted to get a tattoo, this might be your excuse to do it!

The venue is conveniently located right behind Central Station in a 1920’s laboratory that now houses one of the most stylist youth hostels in town. Take a free 5-min ferry ride with the Buiksloterweg ferry. Once you alight, it's just a couple of mins walk to the building next to the ADAM Tower. The Ferry comes every 5 mins and runs throughout the night.
