Join us for this special 5 km walk that's more than just a walk - it's about standing up for freedom and justice. As we journey with one eye covered, we aim to empathize with and understand a fraction of the day-to-day hardships endured by our Iranian friends who have suffered injuries in recent events in Iran.
Our walk is about sparking conversations, raising awareness, and creating a stage for stories and experiences to be shared. So, let's get together and make a real difference! Join us on this journey of solidarity and understanding.
The event starts at 1:00 PM.
After the preliminary instructions, the walk begins with the challenge of closing one eye using medical eye pads. Individuals can use pads if they wish.
During the 5 KM path, performances are carried out to narrate the stories of the people in Iran, and by 5 PM the event concludes upon reaching the endpoint.
The event is in English and Dutch.
