Do you want to experience Amsterdam in your own way and in detail, to capture memories and emotions of the moments with sketching?

Join Yuliya, a visual artist and designer for a sketching walk through the neighbourhoods of Amsterdam, discovering out-of-the-beaten-path areas and cute corners.

“Finding curiosities and harmonies of old and new, of pragmatism and playfulness, inspires me the most in the city, and I would like to share this fascination with you”.

What to expect:

  • 1,5 hours sketching session with Yuliya, accompanied by tips on composition, use of materials, and tools to capture Amsterdam in your own way
  • A5 sketchbook
  • A cheatsheet with curated tips on composition and storytelling. You will get tips on how to notice and capture visual patterns, storylines and dialogues between the environment and people.
  • personalised feedback on your work (optional).

Is any drawing experience required?

  • No, all levels are welcome. Yuliya creates an especially welcoming atmosphere for beginners and focuses on telling your story through visuals.

What to bring?
Comfortable clothing that will help you to move and sit comfortably. A hat and sunscreen when it is sunny and a coat to keep yourself warm if the wind catches us on a way.

Price:
22 euro, including use of materials (charcoal, pencils) A5 sketchbook and a custom guide with tips.
