Exploratory Impressions Sketching | Beginners friendly

Do you want to capture you travel impressions with sketching? Don’t know where and how to start?
Join Yuliya, a visual artist and designer, for an explorative sketching session through Amsterdam's neighbourhoods. “Sketching is a space for a dialogue with oneself; the group size is small, meaning each session will be highly personalised”.

What to expect:

• 1,5 hours sketching session with Yuliya, accompanied by tips on composition, use of materials, storytelling and tools to capture the story in your own way
• A5 sketchbook
• A cheat sheet with curated tips on composition and storytelling. You will get tips on how to notice and capture visual patterns, storylines and dialogues between the environment and people.
• Personalised feedback on your work (optional).

Is any drawing experience required?

• No, all levels are welcome. Yuliya creates an especially welcoming atmosphere for beginners and helps you tell your story through visuals.
• “This is not a classic “how to draw by the rules” masterclass, but an explorative session where I will help you to discover your strengths, which will fuel your further progression.”

What to bring?
Comfortable clothing that will help you to move and sit comfortably. A hat and sunscreen when it is sunny and a coat to keep yourself warm if the wind catches us on a way.

25 euro, including use of materials (charcoal, pencils), A5 sketchbook and a custom guide with tips.
